Rustle Up Some Grub

Join the estimated 9,000 strong crowd on Saturday, September 30th, for a fun, festival atmosphere at the Wichita Wagonmasters’ 34th Annual Downtown Chili Cookoff. Beginning at St. Francis Street on Douglas Avenue and ending at the BNSF railroad tracks, there is expected to be 70 teams competing this year, many of which who will be coming from our surrounding states in the Midwest. This event is put on by the Wagonmasters. Formed in 1974, they are a group of civic-minded business executives who promote ‘the good life’ in Wichita. The proceeds from this event will go to a grant that the Wagonmasters offer called the Good Life Grant program, which in past years, they have given to non-profit organizations in our area that tackle the needs and improve the quality of life for the people of our community.

But wait...there's more!
