More and more working adults are packing their lunch. If your current lunchbox is more classroom than boardroom, we’ve got a few options to help you upgrade. September has us back into the school routine, and for some of us that means the morning starts off with packing lunches. Taking a lunch isn’t just for the kids these days though. According to a recent survey by Visa, the average American adult eats out at least twice a week for lunch, spending $10 or more. That totals up to spending about $1,000 a year just on work day lunches. It’s no wonder more and more Americans are choosing to pack up leftovers or food from home. In fact, thirty percent of workers today never eat out for lunch – a percentage that has grown significantly in the past decade.
